Done at Last!

My new kitchen is finally finished!!
It has taken a long time — from first thinking about it in January, to starting to plan it in February, ordering it in March, having it delayed by lockdown and finally starting in July. There have been periods of time when nothing has happened for days at a time as all the various workmen have had to co-ordinated and socially distanced. But today the final job — fitting of the plinths around the bottom of the cabinets was done.
So here is a montage of the work done — starting with the old worn out kitchen and finishing with the lovely new kitchen:

I am gradually filling shelves, cupboards and drawers — with the plan of weeding out some of the utensils and equipment that have been cluttering up drawers and cupboards unused for several years — do I really need 8 frying pans??
the plan is that all my baking ingredients will go in the tall cupboard –and so free up space in my dining room!

So my thanks go to:
Lee of Cheshire Kitchens & Bedrooms of Hazel Grove for the planning — and his team of workmen: Mark & Max for the fitting, John Ridgeway for the electrics, Steve Moss for the plumbing, T Garlick for the plastering. Worktops were supplied & fitted by Stoneworld of Kendal.
Then From Chapel-en-le-Frith : Bywaters for supplying the Belling cooker & hood, Carpet Creations for the vinyl flooring, Phil Alsop for the painting & decorating and Tim Saxby for the tiling.
I can well recommend them all — they were punctual, polite and cleaned up after themselves!
